About this craft
The most mechanical kit we make. The rider's legs pedal, the crank turns the rear wheel, and changing the gear pair visibly changes the speed.
What your child practises
Gear ratios, connecting rods, why a bigger gear turns slower.
You will also need
Scissors for the small tabs, a glue stick, and about a metre of table space. Everything else is in the box.
