Our fourth range: paper toys with one rubber band doing the work. No cam, no gear — just tension, stored by hand and let go, that flaps, snaps or spins the paper.
Tension launch
Stretch the band, hook it, release — the paper hops or flings forward in one go. The simplest mechanism in the range.
Snap-back jaw
A band pulls a hinged mouth shut the moment you let go. Good for anything that should bite.
Torsion spin
Twist the band like a propeller, let it unwind, and a wheel or wing spins on its own for a few seconds.
Flex arm
The band pulls an arm back to rest after every push, so one motion repeats each time you press it.
What makes these different from the crankables
Crankables move for as long as you turn the handle. Bandables store one motion in a stretched or twisted rubber band, then release it all at once when you let go — closer to a catapult than a machine. Same pre-cut card, same glue stick, one rubber band included in every kit.
